Training
We provide a structured, ongoing curriculum that standardizes best practices and keeps clinicians at the forefront of palliative medicine.
Blended Learning
Access to CAPC® online modules, live virtual seminars, and in‑person workshops.
On-site Training, Mentorship,
or Shadowing
APPs work alongside experienced providers to observe, participate in, and progressively develop competency in real-world clinical operations, workflows, patient care delivery, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and communication practices specific to that site.
Weekly Case‑Based Rounds
Integrative and collaborative discussions reinforce expert symptom management methods, facilitating difficult conversations and challenging dynamics, and coordinating complex care needs.
APRN Certificate
For Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), certification is required within 18 months of hire, pursued through the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center (HPCC) via the Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) credential.
Physician Assistant Certificate
Physician Assistants are required within 18 months for hire to pursue the palliative care certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants PMHC.
